Discover the rich biodiversity of Bahía Ballena on a guided nature walk through forest trails, mangroves, and beach. Start from town, where your guide will share local history, including a stop at the oldest house in Bahía, then continue into the park along a lush coastal trail.
Spot a variety of birds—possibly even scarlet macaws—along with monkeys, sloths, raccoons, bats, and more. The walk finishes with a short beach stroll and views of the iconic Whale’s Tail formation.

Take a boat ride along Costa Rica’s stunning Pacific coast to San Pedrillo Station in Corcovado National Park, one of the most biodiverse places on Earth. Along the way, keep an eye out for dolphins, whales (in season), sea turtles, and marine birds.
Once in Corcovado, enjoy two guided hikes through primary rainforest and coastal trails. You’ll walk beneath giant trees, spot wildlife like monkeys, birds, and reptiles, and—during the dry season—cool off in a refreshing river.
A picnic-style lunch is served at the ranger station between hikes. Return to Uvita around 3:30–4:00 PM.

Join us on a scenic boat tour through Marino Ballena National Park to spot humpback whales (in season), bottlenose and spotted dolphins, sea turtles, and seabirds. We also pass by Whale Rock and Ventanas Beach with its sea caves and rock formations.
If ocean conditions allow, enjoy a refreshing swim or snorkeling break.

Whale Seasons:

• July–October: Best chance to see Southern Hemisphere humpbacks and their calves.
• December–February: Northern humpbacks migrate from California/Washington; great water visibility for snorkeling.
